i have been a customer of aig since 2016, and i have never had any problems. the staff is always helpful, and my claims have been processed quickly and without problems.
what a horrific experience, my claim has been processed twice now and it still has not been resolved. i have given them every piece of documentation and proof needed, and they continue to ask for additional documentation already provided! they have now transferred my file to the 'special investigations' unit, and i am forced to wait and see how they want to proceed. any reasonable person would have resolved this by now; i am becoming increasingly agitated and anxious with the continued delays and lack of communication.
i would highly recommend aig to anyone looking for an insurance company. they are a reputable company with a long history of providing excellent customer service.
i waited over an hour to speak to someone about an issue with my coverage; when i finally got to speak to an agent, she was rude and unhelpful. i will be switching to a different company as soon as possible.
